USDT, Virtual POS and Payment Links with Cards from Germany

CryptoAvans · · 3 min read

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro cards from Germany can be used with CryptoAvans’ card USDT purchase, payment link and API collection flows. A card family being supported does not mean every attempt will be approved for certain; the active virtual POS rule, the issuing bank, the available limit, international e-commerce permission and the 3D Secure result are decisive together.

What should you watch for with cards that use EUR?

In Germany, cards that carry a supported Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Maestro network can be used, not just local cards tied to a bank account.

The order amount shown on the CryptoAvans transaction screen and the amount your bank reflects on your statement in EUR are not the same thing. The issuing bank may apply currency conversion, a foreign transaction fee or other terms of its own card agreement.

Which card families can be used?

The main supported card families are Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro. A card number belonging to one of these networks shows technical coverage; the bank or the payment institution can still decline the transaction because of risk, limit or authorization.

If you use a prepaid, virtual or debit card, check that the card is enabled for online shopping, international use and, if required, 3D Secure verification. Card data should be entered only in the relevant fields on the secure payment screen.

How do buying USDT by card and digital code delivery work?

The service is a digital product model in which the system allocates a digital code to your order and takes that code back within the workflow. The user does not deal with the trading operations of the code; when the order and the checks are completed, the delivery result is handled as USDT.

The merchant name or category shown on your card statement depends on the display rules of the bank and the payment provider. Even though CryptoAvans runs the transaction in the digital code sales flow, it cannot be guaranteed that a card blocked for crypto transactions will be approved; the final answer comes from the issuing bank.

Collection with payment links and virtual POS

With a payment link you send your customer a secure payment address without any technical integration. With API collection you start the payment from your own site and follow the result through server-side notifications. In both models the gross collection, the commission, the value date and the available balance are separate records.

Once the collection balance becomes available, you can move on to the USDT withdrawal flow. A successful card payment does not mean the USDT transfer is completed at the same time; follow each stage from its own status in the panel.
