TRC20 USDT: Network, Wallet Address and Transfer Check

CryptoAvans · · 3 min read

USDT can exist on more than one blockchain. So the phrase “USDT address” alone is not enough for delivery; the asset and the network must be chosen together. In Cryptoavans orders, delivery is made as USDT on the TRON network, that is, TRC20 USDT.

Separate the USDT asset from the transfer network

USDT is a digital asset issued by Tether that aims to hold a value pegged to the US dollar. Tether explains that its tokens can be used on different blockchains. A platform supporting USDT does not mean it supports all USDT networks.

On your receiving platform’s deposit screen, select both the USDT asset and the TRON (TRC20) network. If ERC20 or another network remains selected, do not use the address. Because network options and deposit status can change over time, check the current screen for every order.

Check the accuracy of the address before you order

Copy the receiving address from the deposit or receive screen in your account. Compare the value copied to the clipboard with the value pasted into the order screen and make sure they are identical. Do not use an address taken from an old message without verifying that it is still current.

If the recipient is an exchange account, also read conditions such as the minimum deposit amount and whether the network is temporarily closed. A wallet address is different from your username, order number or recovery code. Enter only the requested wallet address into the order form.

What does the transaction number show?

When a blockchain transfer is sent, the transaction number, commonly called the TX hash, lets you find the transfer record. On a TRON network explorer, check the transaction status, the token type, the receiving address and the amount together. The existence of a transaction number alone does not prove that the record belongs to your order.

Your receiving platform runs the transfer through its own approval and deposit processes. A transfer visible on-chain and its appearing in your account’s available balance may not happen at the same time. First examine the transfer details, then the deposit history of the receiving platform.

Which details should you compare if delivery is delayed?

Check in the panel whether the order is still awaiting delivery. If the transfer has been sent, compare the address you gave in the order with the recipient in the blockchain record. If the amount and the network match, review the deposit conditions of the receiving platform.

Choosing the wrong network or address can lead to loss of the asset; do not assume it can be reversed afterwards. Reading the network labels and verifying the receiving details before you transact is an important check.
